One of the draft's best prospects, Reuben Foster, fell all the way to the end of the first round after being a projected top-five pick. There are several factors that went into his fall, but one of the big ones was his injured shoulder.
While Foster seems to have recovered from that particular injury, he's not out of the woods yet. He sprained another part of his shoulder in practice this week, and his situation is worth monitoring.

It's fortunate that he didn't suffer from the same injury, but the pattern is concerning. Foster is an incredible talent, but injuries have stopped the most promising of careers in their tracks.
Regardless, new 49ers GM John Lynch isn't taking any chances with a player who could end up being the steal of the draft.

The Niners rookie has looked excellent in practice so far, and San Francisco fans are all excited about what he can bring to the table. But he has to make it to the regular season first, and Lynch is doing what he can to ensure that.
On Foster's part, he doesn't seem all too concerned.

Fingers crossed that Foster is okay. Injuries are never fun, even for the most bitter rivals. Hopefully he can make it to September and show the league what he's got.
