When's the last time you saw a baseball player ejected after taking a pitch that was called a ball?

Exhibit A: Ian Kinsler.

Looks like waivers aren't the only thing you need to escape this week, Ian.

It all began after Kinsler took a low called strike from Martin Perez in Texas. He jawed slightly at Angel Hernandez (notoriously terrible) behind the plate before settling in once more. The next pitch was a ball, well off the plate, and whatever it prompted Kinsler to say ended the whole damn charade right there on the spot.

But Kinsler wasn't going out without being explicit about his grievances. As many major leagues have surely wanted to tell Hernandez over the years, Kinsler gave it to him straight, exiting with a, "You're f--king terrible at your job" flourish.

He is, Ian. He's quite terrible.

But he's staying and you're gone. Gone from a mid-August loss in Texas.

OK, you win.
