It can't hurt to try, right?

If the Washington Redskins want any hope of competing this season, they're going to need to stay as healthy as possible. Unfortunately, they're not off to a good start, as many of their top players have gone down with injuries, including Josh Doctson and Trent Murphy.

However, if their biggest and best weapon can get healthy, they'll still have a chance.

Pro Bowl tight end Jordan Reed has been dealing with a nagging toe injury all of camp so far, which has inhibited his ability to get work in with his QB in Kirk Cousins. However, they have an existing relationship, so they should be fine...so long as his time on the shelf stays limited.

If Reed can get healthy, the Redskins will have a shot at the NFC East this season. If he's not 100 percent though, it'll be much more difficult.

Fingers crossed for these insoles?
