Move over Woj Bomb, it's time for the ShamWow.
And in the wee hours of the night!
Shams Charania of The Vertical has dropped another one on us, this time coming a little late for us East Coast folks!
It turns out the Clippers, Hawks and Nuggets are reportedly working out a trade as one star player is set to leave each team. We knew Paul Millsap was signing with Denver and we knew Danilo Gallinari had a good chance of signing with LA, but another big name could be on the move.
Sources: Clippers, Hawks, Nuggets working on trade of Danillo Gallinari to LA/Millsap to DEN; Jamal Crawford/Diamond Stone/FRP to Atlanta.— Shams Charania (@ShamsCharania) July 4, 2017
Yup, a nice three-team deal that will move a star from each squad to a new squad, and the Hawks will actually get a decent return for losing Millsap, who reportedly inked a three-year, $90 million deal with the Nugs.
It looks as if Atlanta could get solid value depending on where the pick comes from.
In rare double sign-and-trade with Hawks, Clippers & Nuggets, could see Jamal Crawford end up in ATL, sources say. Would likely want buyout.— Brian Windhorst (@WindhorstESPN) July 4, 2017
If Crawford is going to buy out, please, NBA Gods, DO NOT let him sign with the Warriors.
In the meantime, big shout out to Shams for getting Twitter in a frenzy this late to drive some more conversation around The Vertical. Take notes, ESP
