Dads often go as unsung heroes in our lives, but a few of the top NBA prospects in this year's draft sat down to share a couple reasons why their fathers have been so impactful to their NBA development.

Jonathan Isaac, De'Aaron Fox, and Jayson Tatum all sat down and gave a few heartfelt anecdotes of their respective fathers, but when it was Lonzo Ball's turn to reflect, I guess you could say the former UCLA point guard had some slightly different memories of his dad coming up.

There clearly wasn't a dull moment when it came to growing up in the Ball household.

LaVar Ball is a lot of things, but boring certainly isn't one of them.

Regardless of his recent run of shenanigans, LaVar's clearly done a great job of being a father to Lonzo. His son is projected to be the No. 2 overall pick in the NBA draft and he has two other sons who have the potential to follow right along Lonzo's path.

You can only knock LaVar but so much. He obviously knows how to make his sons all that they can be, even if at times it seems he's doing more harm than good.

Being boisterous and outspoken has gotten him and his family to where they are now, and in the midst of all the success, one has to ask, why should he stop now?

The show's just getting started.
