Thursday afternoon, Big Baller Brand announced the release of its debut sneaker, the ZO2. The price is quite steep. Lonzo Ball's first signature sneaker will cost you $495, but if you can afford it, you're a Big Baller.

At least, that's LaVar Ball's response to anyone questioning the price.

I'll give Big Baller Brand credit - the ZO2 is a nice looking sneaker, and if people will buy it at that price, then the Ball family has done a great job at circumventing the system.

If you have $500 more to spare, there is a limited ZO2 WET Autographs edition for $995, which comes in a locked glass box with a floor mirror, LED lights, and Lonzo Ball's signature.

You can also get a pair of ZO2 slides for $220.

You don't have to like Lavar Ball to appreciate the fact that he has called out the NCAA and the major sneaker companies for exploiting young ballers.
