According to multiple reports, Tiger Woods has undergone yet another surgery to ease his back pain. The remainder of his 2017 season is still yet to be determined.

​​Woods broke the news of the operation through his personal website Thursday, saying that the surgery was necessary to "alleviate ongoing pain in his back and leg." 


According to Woods, the surgery was not invasive and was quite minimal, but it is still a back operation nonetheless. He plans on resting for a few weeks before beginning therapy. Most patients from this operation tend to recover in about six months time. 


Woods says he hopes this will help him get back to living a normal life, which includes continuing to play professional golf.
