No, he's still not getting out anytime soon.

Already serving a life sentence after being found guilty of killing Odin Lloyd in June 2013, additional charges were recently brought against former Patriots star tight end Aaron Hernandez, as he was accused of killing Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtadoin ia drive-by shooting.

The jury deliberated for six days, and found him not guilty of that murder.

The Boston Globe reports, "The state’s highest court will automatically review Hernandez’s first-degree murder conviction in the Lloyd case at a later date." After being found not guilty in one murder case, the law requires that Hernandez's original case be reviewed.

However, he was convicted of another charge.

So while nothing will change for Hernandez in his day-to-day life—he's still in maximum security prison—the future remains to be seen.

Stay tuned as we update you on both this case and Hernandez's previous charges.
