The Atlanta Falcons had arguably the most explosive offense in the NFL last season. That came in large part to the play-calling magic by then offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan.
Well, Shanahan is now the head coach for the 49ers and San Francisco fans have been hoping some of his weapons would be joining him next season in the Bay Area.
According to a report, those fans have gotten their wish.
WR Aldrick Robinson (22 grabs for ATL last year) set to follow Kyle Shanahan to SF. Two-year deal with the Niners worth up to $6m.— Mike Garafolo (@MikeGarafolo) March 10, 2017
In limited action last season, Robinson made some nice plays for Atlanta and quarterback Matt Ryan. He finished the regular season with 323 yards and two touchdowns.
He'll know head to San Francisco in hopes of landing a larger role with the 49ers. We'll see how Shanahan uses him in the offense.
