The words "in the blink of an eye" have new meaning all of the sudden.

Guess what? Aroldis Chapman can throw a baseball faster than you can. I bet you already knew that, but now there's a new way you can experience how hard Chapman can throw. It's pretty damn cool too.

In case you've ever wondered what it looks like for a catcher to handle Chapman, now you can see firsthand.

Chapman has reported to camp for his semi-new team, and a Yankees beat reporter has offered the world the chance to see what catching a Chapman fastball actually looks like. In case you were wondering, it's pretty fast.

Frankly, I was a bit underwhelmed, but that's because I was expecting the ball to burst into flames "Looney Tunes" style. Still, the ball gets to the catcher in literally the blink of an eye, and there's no way Chapman is throwing with 100 percent effort this early in the season.

Wouldn't want to face that guy with the game on the line.
