UConn has been dominating women's hoops for as long as we can remember, and they added a massive accolade on Monday night.
The Huskies won 100 straight games--a feat that surely cannot be understated, and should not be taken lightly.

Geno Auriemma has created a dynasty in college sports, something we haven't seen since the days of John Wooden at UCLA. They should be celebrated, and Monday night gave them a chance to achieve greatness in style against the No. 6 South Carolina Gamecocks.
Auriemma has frequently stated that this was the year he assumed the streak would come to an end. Yet, here we are once again celebrating the women's squad from Storrs.

It wasn't always easy, however. South Carolina made this a close one for long stretches of the game. However, UConn was able to pull away as they tend to do late in the contest.
Perhaps the most impressive stat in this run; only two of the 100 straight wins by UConn have been decided by single digits.
What a team, and what a record.
