As Kyle Korver prepares to make his debut for the Cleveland Cavaliers, one of his new teammates gave him some fairly simple advice.

That new teammate is future hall of famer LeBron James, who wants Korver to shoot the rock with confidence whenever his number is called.

Korver, whose career three-point percentage ranks eighth all-time at 42.9 percent, is shooting 40.9 percent from downtown this season in 32 games. He'll make his Cleveland debut on Tuesday night.

One of the game's top floor spacers, Korver will try to help the Cavaliers repeat as NBA champs. In 91 career playoff games, he has shot an impressive 38.6 percent from behind the three-point line.

The Cavaliers acquired Korver from the Hawks late last week, in a deal where Cleveland sent out Mike Dunleavy, Mo Williams, and a protected future first-round pick.

Dunleavy, who was acquired in the offseason, didn't quite fill his role to Cleveland's liking. They now turn to Korver, who will look to make a splash in his Cavalier debut.
