If you expected a crazy, exciting, wild football game this Thursday night, you thought wrong.

The Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens kept it low scoring, low intensity, and low volume all night long. But as much as this one was a snoozer, it was a big game for both teams. With the faltering Pittsburgh Steelers and below-average Cincinnati Bengals leaving the AFC North entirely up for grabs, the Ravens needed to win this game to establish some superiority in this division. Cleveland, on the other hand, was looking to get that ever-elusive first victory.

There was a lot on the line. Predictably, the Ravens had more points than the Browns at the end of the game. The scoreboard read 28-7 in favor of the home team, but for awhile (and really the whole first half) the Browns had a legitimate chance to win. They went into the locker room at halftime leading 7-6.

While many football fans elected to catch an early night of sleep tonight, the Twitter world was wide awake and ready to take shots at the abysmal showcase of professional football.

Without further ado, let us begin.

Funny Tweets

One young fan had the guts to shout out the elephant in the room right from the get-go.

I don't think there's much of an argument against that!

This guy, on the other hand couldn't handle the sheer excitement of it all!

The struggle is real, man. The struggle is real. But I'm really not sure what game you're watching!

Maybe it's time to bring Johnny football back?

Nah, Money Manziel is probably better off doing whatever he's doing than suiting up for the Browns again!

The refs honestly should have called this game early. It was borderline unbearable to see the Browns get pummeled yet again.

Yeah, I'd say his expression just about nails how we were all feeling!

Amazing Highlights

Along with a few interceptions by the Cleveland defense in the end zone, there were some pretty nice sacks, including newcomer Jamie Collins' unabated trip into the pocket.

Jamie played with a certain chip on his shoulder tonight. Hmm, I wonder why.

It was a night of firsts for many Ravens players, including wide receiver Breshad Perriman, who had this nasty grab to continue increasing the margin of victory.

It was the best catch of the night, by far!

Crazy Stats

One under-the-radar player who had a heck of a night was Baltimore safety Eric Weddle. He grabbed yet another interception to add to his resume and cement himself as one of the best defensive backs in the game over the past 10 years.

The man with the crazy beard seriously does not get enough credit. Hats off to you, Weddle!

In other news, the Ravens almost duplicated their first performance against the Browns earlier in the season.

It's as if they knew they were going to win the whole time and just tried to make it interesting for the fans!

Maybe not. But one thing for certain is the Ravens cannot fall into this habit of playing from behind if they want to beat good teams in the future!
