Washington Redskins wide receiver Jamison Crowder did something Sunday that no Redskins player has accomplished in eight years.
Crowder fielded a punt on his own 15 yard-line, turned, and then sprinted 85 yards for his first career punt-return touchdown.
The 85-yard return by Crowder was not only the longest of his career, it was also the longest by a member of the Redskins since an 87-yard return for touchdown by Antwaan Randle El at Indianapolis on October 22, 2006.
Crowder has become one of the most reliable weapons on the Redskins roster this year. The second-year receiver out of Duke has 21 catches for 231 yards and two touchdowns. Crowder also currently leads the NFL in punt returns with seven attempts for 194 yards and one touchdown.
