In an effort to bolster their front seven, the Washington Redskins are working out a veteran defensive tackle that won Super Bowl XLV with the Green Bay Packers.

He also used to play for the Giants and Eagles.

Cullen Jenkins spent the last three seasons with the New York Giants and recorded 46 tackles and nine sacks over that span. However, the Giants let him go this offseason after signing defensive tackle Damon Harrison to a huge contract.

Jenkins restructured his deal with the G-Men before they let him go, and now the Redskins are likely hoping to capitalize on acquiring some NFC East intel, as Jenkins also played with the Eagles for two seasons back in 2011-2012.

The 35-year-old should bring ample experience and veteran leadership to a Redskins defense that needs just that. We'll see if it works out.
