Week 20 of the MLS will have several interesting games, but a couple of matches will stand above the rest. Some will feature the top teams in each Conference, while others are derbies that are quickly gaining steam among fans.
Without further ado, here we present you four must-watch games in MLS Week 20. No one can't miss these matches!
4. Portland Timbers vs. Los Angeles Galaxy
Portland is coming off an impressive win against the Seattle Sounders this past weekend, but Los Angeles also defeated Seattle in the US Open Cup quarterfinals this Wednesday. Both teams are alive in the Western Conference's playoff race, and both have two of the most dynamic attacking midfielders in the league: Steven Gerrard and Diego Valeri.
3. Montreal Impact vs. Philadelphia Union
Two of the best teams in the Eastern Conference will collide in Stade Saputo in Montreal, Canada this weekend. The Impact will try to bounce back following last week's 3-1 loss to New York City FC against a Philadelphia side that has won just one game on the road this year. The Union, however, has a balanced squad and they can't be taken for granted considering their play in recent weeks.
2. Colorado Rapids vs. FC Dallas
The two top teams in the Western Conference will collide Saturday in an epic contest. Dallas has four wins in their last five matches, but that streak doesn't impress Colorado, as the Rapids haven't lost in their past 14 games. Dallas tops the West with 40 points and their rivals are three behind, so the top spot in the Conference is at stake.
1. New York Red Bulls vs. New York City FC
The Hudson River Derby, Chapter III. The Red Bulls won the first game by an incredible score of 7-0, but NYCFC won the second match 2-0, so both teams will try to get the upper hand in the season series in this rivalry contest. New York City FC has been the better team of late, though, so they might have a slight edge even if they'll play on the road. Supremacy in The Big Apple is at stake in this one!
