7 Biggest Hot Dogs in Sports

Hot dogs are an iconic food in sports. Whether you're at the ballpark, an arena, or a stadium, there are always hot dogs available at the concession stand. So, in honor of National Hot Dog Day, we compiled a list of the seven biggest hot dogs in sports history.

7. The OMG Dog

If you plan on going to the Amway Center for an Orlando Magic game, the OMG Dog is worth checking out. This pastrami wrapped hot dog is covered in chorizo, shoe string potatoes and cheese sauce. It may not look as big as the others, but you won't go home hungry.

6. The Arizona Dog

The Arizona Diamondbacks' "Arizona Dog" is something people in Phoenix have probably heard of. But if you haven't been to a D-Backs game, you may not know about the Arizona Dog, which is topped with chorizo sausage, nacho cheese and tortilla strips.

5. Cleveland Indians 'Slider Dog'

Mac 'n' cheese, bacon and fruit loops can all be found on the 'Slider Dog' at the Cleveland Indians' stadium. We're not sure if those ingredients actually go well together, but apparently new vendor, Happy Dog, thinks they do. And that's all that matters.

4. The All-Star BBQ Dog

The Kansas City Royals are the reigning World Series Champs. But today, we're here to tell you about their All-Star BBQ Hot Dog. This ballpark dog is covered in pulled pork, coleslaw, pickles and barbecue sauce. Sounds like it's time to go to a Royals game.

3. The Dixie Dog

The Atlanta Braves are 31-58 this season, but their enormous hot dog is a home run. The Dixie Dog is a half-pound foot-long hot dog that is loaded with pulled barbecue pork, low-country mustard barbecue sauce and a southern-style slaw.

2. Crab Mac 'n' Cheese Dog

At Camden Yards in Baltimore, the Stuggy's Crab Mac 'n' Cheese Dog has become a popular treat. This Orioles dog is topped with macaroni and cheese, crab meat and Old Bay seasoning. Hopefully the stadium has a medic near by, because this one sounds like a heart attack waiting to happen.

1. The Churro Dog

Coming in at No. 1 is the Arizona Diamondbacks, who appear twice on this list. The Churro Dog is definitely not your typical hot dog, though. It's a cinnamon churro that lays inside a chocolate-glazed donut, covered in frozen yogurt, caramel and chocolate sauce. It weighs in at 1,117 calories, so if you're trying to lose weight stay away from this one.
