The Houston Texans need to discover who their young talent is and rely on them this season, especially after the slew of moves that occurred in their 2019 offseason. Does DeAndre Hopkins' departure require a refresher? Here are some Texans currently under 25 that are valuable pieces moving forward.

3. Keke Coutee (WR)

While his presence was overshadowed through being surrounded by DeAndre Hopkins, Keke Coutee is a good young piece on the Texans roster. He should have a greater role on the Texans offense with Hopkins departed and Watson looking for new targets. In 2019, Coutee tallied 22 receptions for 254 yards. He holds the franchise record for most receptions and receiving yards in his NFL debut.

2. Max Scharping (G/T)

Max Scharping is only in his second NFL season, and is already slated to be a starter on the Texans offensive line in 2020 after appearing in that role in 14 games last season. Some of his biggest assets coming out of college at Northern Illinois were his ability to position himself to wall off defensive pass rushers to protect the quarterback and his raw footwork. Scharping has the ability to manhandle the best of opposing defenders, making him a key tool in extending Deshaun Watson's throwing time.

1. Deshaun Watson (QB)

Deshaun Watson is undoubtedly the best young player under age 25 on the Texans roster. The relationship between he and head coach Bill O'Brien could be damaged following the trade of DeAndre Hopkins to Arizona. Nevertheless, Watson is poised for another elite season as the arguably the next best QB in the AFC after Patrick Mahomes. His 2019 stats touched 333 completions, 3,852 yards, and 26 touchdowns, and he's only getting better.
