Looks like the scouts and Draft Twitter nailed it this year.

The NBA announced the All-Rookie First and Second Teams, with the First Team consisting of each of the top five picks in the draft. Dallas' Luka Doncic and Atlanta's Trae Young were unanimous selections, and were joined by Phoenix's DeAndre Ayton, Sacramento's Marvin Bagley Jr., and Memphis' Jaren Jackson Jr.

The second team was led by a pair of Los Angeles Clippers in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Landry Shamet, as well as Cleveland point guard Collin Sexton. New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson and Hawks swingman Kevin Huerter rounded out the team.

As is always the case, some rookies put up promising seasons, yet couldn't crack the All-Rookie team. Those snubs include Phoenix's Mikal Bridges, Dallas' Jalen Brunson, and Brooklyn's Rodions Kurucs, who started 46 games for a Nets team that made the playoffs.

Very rarely in any sport are each of the first few picks such a solid bet. Not only does every member of the first team look like a valuable rotation piece at worst, but all of them have shown the potential to be franchise players.
