Luke Maye entered some elite company on Wednesday night, which also happened to be his birthday.
For the former UNC star, this is definitely something he'll be sharing with his kids someday.
At just 21 years old, Maye had 13 points and 9 rebounds in a win vs. Syracuse. Okay these numbers may not seem gaudy, but they helped launch him into the record books.
Maye cracked the top 50 for most rebounds all time as a Tar Heel (surpassing Michael Jordan in the process), and also entered into the top 100 all time in North Carolina history for points scored (passing Ed Stahl).
Maye has been a fan favorite and even a hero of sorts after hitting the game-winner in last year's regional final to knock Kentucky out of the tournament.

He's shown he's a versatile player and has even drawn comparisons to NBA All-Stars like Kevin Love for how he plays the game. He's a big man that can shoot from all over the floor, is a phenomenal rebounder and is a decent passer for a big man.
Congrats on the milestone!
