The Miami Dolphins recently placed the franchise tag on Jarvis Landry. However, they're expected to trade him this offseason

There's reportedly some interest from the Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns, and Chicago Bears.

According to a report, shockingly, the New England Patriots are not among teams interested in trading for him. The rest of the NFL can let out a big sigh of relief. Do they really need him anyway?

It doesn't make sense for the Dolphins to move Landry within their division, especially to the Patriots, who are the top dogs every year.

There doesn't seem to be any interest from the Patriots anyway. But imagine a receving corps of Jarvis Landry, Brandin Cooks and Julian Edelman with Rob Gronkowski at tight end? That is lethal.

For the sake of the NFL, the Dolphins should trade Landry anywhere other than the Patriots.

In 2017, Landry had a career-high nine touchdown receptions and led the NFL with 112 receptions.

A big-time receiver like Landry on the trade market is not seen often. It will be interesting to see where he ends up. Just note, Landry to the Patriots is highly unlikely.
