There is no doubt about it, Oklahoma Sooner ex-QB Baker Mayfield was one of the most electrifying players in college football that we have seen in a long time.

Mayfield captured our attention by his big plays and his antics both on and off the field.

Now, the Heisman Trophy winner finds himself blowing up news feeds again.

This is great. We can feel the Sooner blood running through Mayfield's veins with what he said to University of Texas commit Keondre Coburn, regarding the Red River rivalry.

Mayfield shows his love for his program by calling out Coburn for what he deemed to be a "naive" statement by the four-star recruit. But can you blame Mayfield? Cobrun called out OU specifically in his tweet, then referenced the other teams as "the rest of them."

So, we can probably expect Mayfield at the next Texas-Oklahoma game. A game in which he won twice.

Maybe if Coburn wants to get back at Mayfield he can dig deep into the record books and bring up Mayfield's two losses to Texas while at Texas Tech.
