Marshall Faulk won three NFL Offensive Player of the Year Awards as a member of the Rams. As of today, Todd Gurley only trails the Hall of Famer by two in that category.

Beating out such formidable candidates as Tom Brady and Antonio Brown, Gurley is taking home the major honor this year.

In addition to winning many fantasy owners their league championships thanks to a smashing performance down the stretch, Gurley ran for 1,305 yards and 13 touchdowns this season, adding 788 yards and six scores through the air.

The news comes alongside a separate announcement that Rams teammate Aaron Donald was named NFL Defensive Player of the Year. Given the fact that head coach Sean McVay also has a shot to take home Coach of the Year honors, it would be appear to be generally a good thing to be a Ram right about now.

A tip of the cap to Todd for such a dominant run this year.
