For the first time in NFL Divisional playoff history, a 6-seed was favored over a 1-seed, but here it turns out the odds makers may have outsmarted themselves.
Even without starting quarterback Carson Wentz, the Eagles were able to put off the "upset" and defeat the Falcons 15-10 following a goal line stand with the Falcons in position to take the lead.
After the game, Eagles O-lineman Lane Johnson made a mockery out of the team's supposed underdog status with some unique postgame head gear.
Philadelphia may have found something to really rally behind. The Eagles are underdogs. Think about that.
Even though they were able to ground the Falcons in this one, things are set to only get tougher.
In the next round, Philly will have to either contend with the Saints high-octane offense or the Vikings vaunted D as they battle for the right to advance to Super Bowl LII.
