This is a tough break for Lakers fans, because the kid was really cooking as of late.
Saturday on the road against the Dallas Mavericks, Brandon Ingram drove into the lane, but bumped into Mavs veteran Devin Harris.
Brandon Ingram won’t return today due to the mild left ankle sprain. He tried to play on it after getting re-taped before leaving for a second time. He had 4 points, 6 boards and 5 assists in the 1st Q.— Mike Trudell (@LakersReporter) January 13, 2018
Hopefully, Ingram was held out of action as a precaution and can return to action in due time. After prevailing in today's game in overtime, the Lakers have now won four games in a row.
Keeping the mojo working will go a long way to quieting the rumors of a potential ouster of head coach Luke Walton, and Ingram figures to play an ever-expanding role for the purple and gold.
