This is a sneaky-good hire.
Jeremy Pruitt has officially taken on one of the toughest jobs in all of college sports, becoming the head coach of the Tennessee Volunteers. He has been focused on filling out his staff, and has targeted some big names along the way.
And he's now wrapped things up after landing a solid wide receivers coach, David Johnson of Memphis.

Johnson is a stellar choice for the position, as he's found success wherever he's landed. He coached running backs in Tulane, and did a fantastic job with Orleans Darkwa, who is now a rising NFL talent.
At Memphis, he's done a fantastic job with Anthony Miller, a name you probably haven't heard, but will hear as we get closer to draft day. Miller is one of the best technicians at the position in this class, and you can bet Johnson played a big part in that.
This is a huge step up for the coach, and it's well-deserved.
