Jimmy Graham is coming off of a strong 2017 season, where he scored 10 touchdowns, the most during his tenure with the Seattle Seahawks. Not only that but he showed plenty of chemistry with quarterback Russell Wilson.
With Seattle's season over, reports have indicated that Graham is likely to leave in free agency. There are plenty of options for Graham to consider, as he should generate plenty of interest in the free agency market.
Here are the three most likely landing spots for Jimmy Graham.
3. Houston Texans
The Texans originally had their starting tight end set in C.J. Fiedorowicz, however numerous concussions has his NFL career in limbo.
With Graham entering free agency, Houston has the seventh most cap space among all NFL teams entering the 2018 season. With Deshaun Watson and DeAndre Hopkins, adding Graham could make the Texans one of the most dangerous offenses in the league in 2018.
2. Green Bay Packers
The Packers' experiment with Martellus Bennett failed miserably, as the project didn't last a full season.
Now, with Green Bay looking to right the wrongs of 2017, expect them to make a run at Graham. Aaron Rodgers has been looking for the pass catching threat at the tight end position for years, and the new GM will have to consider Graham to fulfill those wishes.
1. Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jaguars have been the surprise of the 2017 season, where they clinched the AFC South.
However, the tight end position is in need of a spark. It is unknown if the Jaguars will address the tight end position in the draft, or if they take a quarterback. However, with approximately $24 million in cap space, expect Jacksonville to make a run at Graham, who could take the young upstart to the next level.
