The New York Yankees just made an addition to their starting rotation with the signing of CC Sabathia, but that doesn't mean they are done looking for rotation help.

Pittsburgh Pirates starter Gerrit Cole has been the topic of rumors to the Bronx, but it seems like there is a bit of a hold up because of the asking price coming from Pittsburgh.

According to Jon Heyman of Fan Rag Sports, the Pirates want Yankees top prospect Gleyber Torres in return for Cole.

The Yankees certainly don't want to give up Torres in any deal, much less one for Cole. The more likely player who would be the centerpiece of a deal heading to Pittsburgh is outfielder Clint Frazier, especially since he doesn't have a set position with the addition of Giancarlo Stanton.

It would take more than just Frazier to get this done, and the other big piece that would likely be part of the deal is third prospect Miguel Andujar or pitching prospect Chance Adams.

If the Pirates are stubborn on their asking price of Torres, then Gerrit Cole becoming a Yankee is very slim. Maybe this is simply a negotiating tactic, but the current price tag of Torres is pretty ridiculous.
