Looks like the rook is coming for the top dog.
Things got a bit chippy in the Celtics-Mavericks game when Dallas guard Dennis Smith Jr. went strong to the hole before being fouled by Kyrie Irving.
It wasn't the foul though that looked to set Smith Jr. off. As he began to walk by, Irving through his arms up and delivered a glancing blow with his elbow near the chinny chin chin of the young Dennis Smith.
Naturally, he didn't like that one bit.

Whatever Smith had to say, it certainly didn't look too friendly.
While Irving is indeed having a career year thus far with the Celtics, Smith is quickly making a name for himself as well down in Dallas.
The rookie out of North Carolina State is the team's second leading scorer and assist man this season, and proved here that he's got some bite to go along with his stellar game.
Irving may have his hands full in this one.
