He’s won a national championship. He can jump out the gym and score. Oh yeah, he trips people. A lot. Now he’s up for an Oscar.
Ummmm, maybe I missed it, but why is no one talking about Grayson Allen's oscar winning flop tonight? Some things never change. pic.twitter.com/Cxr5spHf05— CMD_77 (@CMD_77) November 18, 2017
Allen is known for his on-court antics. But this may have been the worst flop I’ve seen. Clearly Allen is taking notes from the Chosen One, the King.
Manu, likely (Argentinian). But I'll never forget seeing LeBron flop after an opponent touched him, but in reality it was his own man. pic.twitter.com/pIw7cNMPs0— DeMarcus Davis (@DeMarcusRFNET) June 21, 2017
While the flop by Allen was horrendous, his play has been the opposite. With Duke at 4-0, Allen has led them scoring 21.8 points a game. He averaged 21 points in 2015, but had a down year last season averaging just under 15 per game.
Allen dropped 37 points on #2 Michigan State in Duke's 88-81 victory.
What makes Allen’s scoring even more impressive is his efficiency. He’s shooting 52% from the field, 53% from three, and 93% from the free throw.
As long as Allen keeps that trigger locked and loaded, Duke will enjoy many wins this season and a great shot at the national championship.
