Well, it looks like in the war of words between New York Knicks center Enes Kanter and Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James, it's James who will have the last laugh.
As a quick refresher for anybody who hasn't been paying attention, there's been a bit of a back and forth between these two players.
After the eventual Cavs win, Kanter had this to say about the Cavs star:
“Whatever you wanna call yourself - king, queen, princess, whatever - we’re gonna fight... and nobody’s gonna punk us”— Andrew Claudio (@Claudio_GSN) November 14, 2017
Wow. Enes Kanter is FED UP (and is quickly becoming a fan favorite) pic.twitter.com/ytVqf0GJ13
A pretty scathing comment, yes, but James was absolutely not to be outdone. Not only did he troll Kanter with his postgame hat, but his comments showed that he's not just the King on the court, but the King of clapbacks as well.
LeBron James’ response to Enes Kanter’s postgame barb: “I’m the king, my wife is the queen and my daughter is the princess so we got all three covered.” (Also: Notice the hat) pic.twitter.com/AAkzDLL7kt— Dave McMenamin (@mcten) November 14, 2017
Damn. There's nothing that Kanter can say at this point that LeBron won't be able to somehow spin into his own benefit. After that, he probably should realize there's no toppling the King, in any respect.
