This is about as bad an update as you could possibly get.
The Green Bay Packers watched as superstar QB Aaron Rodgers was carted off the field with an apparent shoulder injury, after he was driven into the ground by Vikings LB Anthony Barr on a controversial hit.
The entire NFL waited with bated breath to get an update on Rodgers' shoulder, and unfortunately, that update (straight from the team itself) is everything that fans do not want to hear right now.
QB Aaron Rodgers suffered a broken collarbone. There's a chance he could miss the rest of the season.— Green Bay Packers (@packers) October 15, 2017
The Packers took to Twitter to announce that Rodgers has suffered a broken collarbone, and according to the training staff, it is possible that he misses the rest of the season as a result of this injury.
Rodgers has returned from a collarbone fracture before, missing seven weeks back in 2013.
The Packers are going to have to form some kind of auxiliary plan in the meantime, so stay tuned for more developments.
