Another College Football Saturday is quickly approaching, and it's sure to be another exciting slate of games. Teams are looking to keep their conference and national championship dreams alive, while others will improbably falter. Here are some upsets that WILL go down on Saturday.
4. Michigan State Over No. 7 Michigan
The battle for the Paul Bunyan Trophy is always tight, and this year should be no different. Michigan State is much improved from last year, and despite some offensive woes could prove to be a challenge for the Wolverines. Michigan's offense has yet to wake up from their offseason slumber. Don't be surprised if the Spartans take advantage,
3. No. 23 West Virginia Over No. 8 TCU
TCU has emerged as a dark horse contender in the Big 12 after their win over Oklahoma State. On Saturday, they'll take on an upstart West Virginia. But despite the home-field advantage, the Frogs can't afford to sleep on WVU, led by a potent offensive attack.
2. Oregon over No.11 Washington State
Fresh off their first win against USC in 15 years, the Cougars next matchup has the making of a trap game. The Ducks offense has averaged the most yards per game so far this season, and Autzen Stadium is one of the loudest places in college football. Expect a track meet between the two teams, and don't be surprised if Washington State comes up just short.
1. Florida State over No.13 Miami
This season hasn't gone as expected for the Seminoles. Starting quarterback Deondre Francois suffered a season-ending injury in against Alabama, and then they lost to NC State before escaping Wake Forest last weekend with a win. But head coach Jimbo Fisher is 7-0 against the Hurricanes, and if you combine that with Miami's track record of a few unexpected losses every year, you have the recipe for an upset.
