Cleveland Cavaliers' owner Dan Gilbert said that he's been receiving multiple racist calls over LeBron James and his tweet about President Trump.
U bum @StephenCurry30 already said he ain't going! So therefore ain't no invite. Going to White House was a great honor until you showed up!— LeBron James (@KingJames) September 23, 2017
James tweeted this in response to Donald Trump withdrawing his invitation from Steph Curry, who already declined the invite to go to the White House.
Gilbert said that some of the calls he got displayed levels of racism that he didn't even know existed. "The thing is, I mean, some of the most disgusting things I've ever heard people say."

Although Dan Gilbert and LeBron James have had their share of rough moments, Gilbert said he was proud of LeBron for making a stand for what he believes in. It's unfortunate that the whole issue right now is not being resolved but fought back with vulgar words.
With NFL players receiving death threats and now NBA players receiving racist calls, it's evident that there is a huge issue that needs to be addressed.
