As many know, there are a lot of people currently suffering due to hurricanes.

Both hurricane Harvey and Irma did damage to Houston and Florida, respectively. And Chris Paul and the NBA Players Association are stepping up to help those in need.

Last night a telethon was held to help hurricane victims. During the telethon, Chris Paul announced that the NBAPA would match donations made by any player up to $20,000.

This is an awesome move to see the NBAPA step up and do the right thing. There are many families hurting right now, and some who might have lost everything. It's the least that some people can do to help them out in this time of need.

Paul himself has already donated $50,000 to the J.J. Watt foundation. Paul is now a member of the Houston Rockets. So, now being from Houston, he knows the impact that this hurricane had on many people.

Let's hope the donations keep coming, because there's many people who need it.
