I'll put this as frankly as I can: The Mets are not good, but at least they generally stay upright.
Well, not Tuesday.
Nothing has really gone right for them this season, both on and off the field. Their play on the diamond has left a lot to be desired, and they have been ravaged by injuries off of it.
Add another to the list, as reliever Erik Goeddel was examined by the medical staff today for a concerning reason.

Goeddel is apparently experiencing dizziness (sp on Carig's part) and blurred vision, and the medical staff is trying to figure out the cause.

Goeddel has had a solid year out of the bullpen, posting a 3.95 ERA in 30 games this season. We'll give you updates on this tough situation as soon as we can.
