The NFL regular season is underway. 30 teams have yet to play their first down, so teams are doing last minute roster shuffling in an attempt to get the most talent with the most chemistry.

The New England Patriots played on Thursday night, and after an eye-opening loss, they may be looking to switch things up. They aren't the only ones looking to make moves, as multiple teams have contacted them about a trade for Dion Lewis, per reporter Jeff Howe.

Lewis had just had just two carries for nine yards on Thursday, so another team may have a better use for him.

The Patriots haven’t heard an offer they’re interested in thus far, but there is no denying they have a crowded backfield that saw Mike Gillislee, James White and Rex Burkhead all get more carries than Lewis on Thursday.

The 26-year-old speedster is in the last year of his contract and is making a $1.2 million base salary this season. Another team could very well use his services.
