Whether we the fans want to acknowledge it or not, it's awfully difficult to maintain a very public relationship when you're an NFL star, even when you're winning.

And Aaron Rodgers' latest interview made it abundantly clear that his time with Olivia Munn was undone by the pressure placed on him by outside opinions and gossip.

Hopefully, fans who saw some sort of Munn Curse where there was only a loving relationship pulled apart by forces that were occasionally outside his control will be able to listen to Aaron's side here.

As Aaron put it to ESPN: The Magazine, without mentioning Olivia by name, “When you are living out a relationship in the public eye, it’s definitely … it’s difficult. It has some extra constraints because you have other opinions abut your relationship, how it affects your work and, you know, just some inappropriate connections.”

"Inappropriate connections" definitely seems like it can be defined as Packer fans, and malicious anti-Green Bay vocalizers throughout the league, blaming any struggles from Aaron on Olivia's presence. No matter how we felt about them, I think we can certainly acknowledge that she, herself, was not the distraction.

But, if Aaron felt put upon, perhaps it's best he leaves his love life for the time being and focuses all his energy on his own greatness. There'll be plenty of time for romance soon enough.
