The Los Angeles Dodgers suffered a rare home loss to the San Diego Padres 4-3 Friday night. Left fielder Enrique Hernandez wasn't sweating it, though, because the Dodgers are 81-34 and easily the best team in the major leagues right now.
Besides, the moon was shining brighter than ever in the City of Angels last night!
Non baseball tweet...— Enrique Hernández (@kikehndez) August 12, 2017
If you live in LA and you haven't seen the moon tonight, you're missing out!!
Then, a party pooping Fox News commentator just had to chime in because professionals must always be focused on their job or whatever.
Tonight in left field you were behaving like a little-leaguer. You need to focus on the game, not 5 yr olds in the stands. Embarrassing.— David Wohl (@DavidWohl) August 12, 2017
If you take one look at David's Twitter profile, it becomes easy to understand why this response sounds like something that President Trump would've tweeted. Newsflash, David: the Dodgers are on one of the best runs baseball has seen in over 100 years. Kike's having fun. It's really not a big deal.
Hernandez took the opportunity to poke fun at Wohl's party pooping by calling him out for lacking basic human compassion.
Sorry kids, David (Political Analyst) wants me to focus on the game! We've been wrong the entire time, little fans with dreams don't matter! https://t.co/eHQfeUjcK5— Enrique Hernández (@kikehndez) August 12, 2017
Of course, Wohl just couldn't let it go.
You act like a goofball, totally distracted and we lose to the awful Padres. Hopefully Dave Roberts has a problem with that too.— David Wohl (@DavidWohl) August 12, 2017
I'll bet that Roberts has bigger issues to worry about.
This goes on for a while but Hernandez puts it all into perspective before he logged off for the night.
I play a kid's game for a living. Your input isn't only wrong, it isn't welcome. Good night.— Enrique Hernández (@kikehndez) August 12, 2017
It's pretty sad that Wohl doesn't have anything better to do with his time than harass a player on what's supposed to be his favorite team during the middle of the season.
If the Dodgers lost a fan, good riddance.
