Another former Packer finds a place to continue his career.
Green Bay and its storied franchise has one of the most talented teams in the NFL, which means that unfortunately, some talented players simply can't fight their way onto the roster, and are forced to take their careers elsewhere.
The most recent example of this is running back John Crockett, who after spending the first two seasons of his career in Green Bay, is now heading out West to Oakland.
Crockett was signed by the Packers in 2015 as an undrafted free agent, and actually made a decent impact during his rookie season, even earning himself a spot on the active roster.
However, an injury forced him to miss the entire 2016 season.
Beyond that, the Packers simply no longer had the room to carry him on the roster, leading to this signing in Oakland.
Hopefully Crockett is about to fit in on the Raiders roster somehow and continue his football career in the AFC.
