The U.S. Open Cup is full of surprises as the best amateur clubs in the country go up against the professional clubs. On Wednesday, the Michigan Bucks faced Saint Louis FC and there was a moment of magic from one of the top prospects on the Bucks squad.

Francis Atuahene produced a moment of magic as he volleyed home a beautiful effort from outside the 18.

Atuahene is currently a junior at the University of Michigan and hails from Ghana. He is already on the radar for the Major League Soccer draft next season. He scored eight goals in his season last year for Wolverines.

Saint Louis would hang on to win 2-1 to advance to the next round of the competition, but nonetheless, moments like these are what make the Open Cup so special as we get a glimpse of the future stars of the pro soccer leagues in the U.S.
