Since the offseason, there have been rumors swirling of the Marlins being for sale.
A potential buyer has been Yankee great Derek Jeter, but now we have another former player who has interest in buying the Marlins.

Hall of Fame pitcher Tom Glavine and businessman Tagg Romney are now interested in purchasing the Marlins.
Tom Glavine knows the Marlins very well. He dominated the entire NL East his whole career as a member of the Braves and Mets. That led to 305 wins and now he could find his way back in the division, but in an ownership role.
It will be interesting to see if any other former players jump into the bidding on the Marlins.
