Well, who saw this one coming?
Earlier this offseason, the Browns shocked the world by trading for embattled QB Brock Osweiler from the Houston Texans, getting a second-round pick as well for eating his monstrous contract.
Initial reports indicated the team was likely to absorb the cap space and either try to trade him, or just outright cut him before training camp even rolled around.
However, it sounds like the team has flipped on that debate.

According to Browns GM Sashi Brown, he is now looking forward to Osweiler joining the Browns and even competing for a starting job. Talk about a change in though.

Things are just not great for Brock Osweiler right now. The Texans hated him so much that they literally sent him away WITH a second-round pick, and even the Browns didn't want him after that.

This may be a step in the right direction for him, but it is still not great.
