Heading into the last few baseball seasons, the life and times of Yasiel Puig has been on full display by both his most dedicated fans and his biggest critics.

There always seems to be something going on in Puig's book-worthy personal life, but things have been changing for the better. This season, all eyes are on Puig as a result of his recent improvement at the plate.

He looks leaner, stronger, and a lot like the guy we saw in 2013 and 2014. Quite frankly, Puig looks poised to make a legitimate comeback this season.

Unfortunately, the Cuban slugger was the recent victim of a home-robbery that left him short over $500K in stolen jewelry.

It's a scary situation, specifically because Puig had his own home invaded while away for Spring Training. Puig, 26, recently welcomed a second child, so the notion of having a thief in his house is terrifying to begin with.

I'm sure Puig has insurance on those pieces of jewelry, but here's hoping he'll never have to go through something like this again.
