If you talk to Red Sox fans, they've already begun taking off of work during November for another World Series parade.
They already had an absolutely loaded lineup and a number of talented pitchers, including Cy Young winner Rick Porcello. Adding one of the best pitchers in the MLB, Chris Sale, just bumped up the expectations of Red Sox nation to World Series or bust.
Apparently, Chris Sale has the same expectations.
Sale is already thinking about adding banners to Fenway.
Today Chris Sale sat down with the media and explained why he's happy to be playing in Boston: pic.twitter.com/4Q6kfqI992— Boston Red Sox (@RedSox) February 14, 2017
It's good that his expectations are that high. The Red Sox didn't bring him to Boston to do anything but hunt for a title.
With Sale on board, the Red Sox now have arguably the best rotation in the AL, if not the league. There are two former Cy Young winners on the team and he still might be the best pitcher in the rotation.
In just a few short months, Sale starts his first meaningful season. Now, it's time to back it up.
