Marvin Williams is definitely not having his finest season, but he's finding ways to contribute when he needs to.
Take Tuesday night, for instance. In the third quarter of Charlotte's game against the Brooklyn Nets, Williams got the ball and Randy Foye didn't have a chance of defending him.
Pure posterization right there.
Those were just 2 of Williams' 14 points on the night as the Hornets faced the Nets. He threw in 9 rebounds and 2 blocks on the night as well.
Williams has had a down year in several regards for the Hornets. He's averaging 11.2 points per game but his shooting percentage is down significantly, down to .407 - the worst of his career.
Charlotte is languishing as the ninth seed in the Eastern Conference, and they'll need more contributions like that from Williams if they're going to fight their way into the playoffs.
